Java Training
People are excited about high level language Java training because of what it lets them do. Java was the first way to include inline sound and animation in a web page. Java training also lets users interact with a web page. Instead of just reading it and perhaps filling out a form, Java training make users can now play games, calculate spreadsheets, chat in realtime, get continuously updated data and much, much more.
Here are just a few of the many things Java can do for a web page:
Inline sounds that play in realtime whenever a user loads a page
Music that plays in the background on a page
Cartoon style animations
Realtime video
Multiplayer interactive games
However Java is more than just a web browser with special features. All of these features can be integrated into browsers in other ways. Although HotJava was the first browser to include inline sound and animation, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 2.0 and Netscape Navigator 2.0 support these features in several different ways. What makes Java special?
Java is a programming language for distributed applications. It doesn’t just allow you to add new types of content to your pages like Netscape and Internet Explorer do. Rather it lets you add both the content and the code necessary to interact with that content. You no longer need to wait for the next release of a browser that supports your preferred image format or special game protocol. With Java you send browsers both the content and the program necessary to view this content at the same time!
Let’s think about what this means for a minute. Previously you had to wait for all the companies that make the web browsers your readers use to update their browsers before you could use a new content type. Then you had to hope that all your readers actually did update their browsers. Java compatibility is a feature that any browser can implement and by so doing implement every feature!
For instance let’s say you want to use EPS files on your Web site. Previously you had to wait until at least one web browser implemented EPS support. Now you don’t wait. Instead you can write your own code to view EPS files and send it to any client that requests your page at the same time they request the EPS file.
Or suppose you want people to be able to search your electronic card catalog. However the card catalog database exists on a mainframe system that doesn’t speak HTTP. Before Java you could hope that some browser implemented your proprietary card catalog protocol; (fat chance) or you could try to program some intermediate cgi-bin on a UNIX box that can speak HTTP and talk to the card catalog, not an easy task. With Java when a client wants to talk to your card catalog you can send them the code they need to do so. You don’t have to try to force things through an httpd server on port 80 that were never meant to go through it.
If that were all Java was, it would still be more interesting than a <marquee> or <frame> tag in some new browser beta. But there’s a lot more. Java is platform independent. A Java program can run equally well on any architecture that has a Java enabled browser. With the release of Netscape Navigator 2.0 that includes Windows 95, Windows NT, the MacOS, Sun Solaris, Sun OS 4.1.3, SGI IRIX, OSF/1, HP-UX with more to come. But wait. There’s more!
Java isn’t just for web sites. Java is a programming language that lets you do almost anything you can do with a traditional programming langauge like Fortran or C++. However Java has learned from the mistakes of its predecessors. It is considerably cleaner and easier to use than those languages.
As a language Java is
Simple
Java has the bare bones functionality needed to implement its rich feature set. It does not add lots of syntactic sugar or unnecessary features.
Object-Oriented
Almost everything in Java is either a class, a method or an object. Only the most basic primitive operations and data types (int, for, while, etc.) are at a sub-object level.
Platform Independent
Java programs are compiled to a byte code format that can be read and run by interpreters on many platforms including Windows 95, Windows NT, and Solaris 2.3 and later.
Safe
Java code can be executed in an environment that prohibits it from introducing viruses, deleting or modifying files, or otherwise performing data destroying and computer crashing operations.
High Performance
Java can be compiled on the fly with a Just-In-Time compiler (JIT) to code that rivals C++ in speed.
Multi-Threaded
Java is inherently multi-threaded. A single Java program can have many different things processing independently and continuously.

Java is a programming language formulated by Sun Microsystems. The language was obtained from C and C++ to a great extent. Java programming language: It is a high-level, object-oriented programming language. Java is centered on creating & manipulating objects, and making the objects to work together.
1)Java Virtual Machine: Short for JVM, it is a high-performance virtual machine that executes byte codes on a specific computing platform.
2)Java platform: A JVM running compiled Java byte codes, usually calling on a set of standard libraries such as those provided by Java Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition . Though coupled by design, the language does not imply the JVM, and vice versa.
Java is a revolutionary language and so, for this reason, it is the most accepted computing language in use today for a wide-ranging purpose. Some of the substantial benefits of Java Training are:
1) Java is Architectural Neutral: Since Java’s applications are typically piled-up to a byte-code and as its’ integration is done into all the major operating system, so, for this reason,Java Training Program can be accessed on any platform with a Java Virtual Machine. 3 Easy Steps to install Java on Linux

Java is a programming language and computing platform first released by Sun Microsystems in 1995. It is the underlying technology that powers state-of-the-art programs including utilities, games, and business applications. Java runs on more than 850 million personal computers worldwide, and on billions of devices worldwide, including mobile and TV devices.
There are lots of applications and websites that won’t work unless you have Java installed, and more are created every day. Java is fast, secure, and reliable. From laptops to datacenters, game consoles to scientific supercomputers, cell phones to the Internet, Java is everywhere!
So,i’m going to explain you step by step installtion of java on linux.
Step 1:
Download the Latest Version of java from http://java.com
Select the OS you would like to download for(window,linux,solaris).
There are two types of files to download.
1.Self extracting binary file.
This file can be used to install Java in a location chosen by the user and can be installed by anyone (not only root users). As long as you are not root user, it cannot displace the system version of the Java platform suppled by Linux.
2.RPM Package
Linux RPM (Redhat Package Manager) uses RPM to install Java. In order to use this method, you need to have RPM available on your system. Otherwise use the other option.
In this case we will download self extracting binary file.
I m using Java 6 update 13.
Step2.
Install as root for system wide java or if you want it just for yourself,extract the package in ~/bin/java or your home location.
a.Change the file permission.
chmod a+x jdk-6u13-linux-i586.bin
b.Change to directory where you want to install
cd /usr/java/
c.Run the file.
./jdk-6u13-linux-i586.bin
Accept the license agreement.
Java gets installed in the directory
/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_13
Step 3.
Now, if you want to be able to execute this version of Java interpretor or compiler from any directory on your GNU/Linux system you will have to create a few symbolic links:
# ln -s /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_13/bin/java /usr/bin/java
# ln -s /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_13/bin/javac /usr/bin/javac
or
To make Java available to all users, add it to the default PATH settings by editing /etc/profile and adding:
PATH=$PATH:/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_13/bin
JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_13
export $PATH $JAVA_HOME
Firefox or Mozilla
Create a symbolic link to the libjavaplugin.so file in the browser plugins directory
Go to the plugins sub-directory under the Firefox installation directory
cd /plugins
Create the symbolic link
ln -s /plugin/i386/
ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
eg.
Go to mozilla folder
cd /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
Create a symbolic link
ln -s /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_13/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji_so

The Java language is normally the first language that any programmer learns. Since many different programmers are interested in developing their own game, many programmers will use the Java language to create a simple one. There are many different Java game development tools. For example, a programmer could use Java 3D, Swing, AWT, LWJGL, Slick, and JGame for game development.
Java 3D, Swing, AWT
Java 3D, Swing, and AWT are game libraries that are not designed for game development. However, they do have a slight advantage. This advantage is the fact that Java 3D, Swing, and AWT are already installed on the Java system automatically. This means that the new programmer does not need to deal with specific configurations. This makes it easier for the programmer to use Java and these game development tools to make easy games. However, Java 3D, Swing, and AWT do have their own disadvantages. For example, these programming tools are specifically designed for making Graphical User Interfaces. Java 3D, Swing, and AWT are not the best tools for creating Java based games. This is mainly because the developer needs to focus on synchronizing audio and video.
The Lightweight Java Game Library
The Lightweight Java Game Library, or LWJGL, is an extremely powerful Java game engine. The Lightweight Java Game Library gives Java game developers the chance to access the Open AL audio library and the Open GL graphics library. The LWJGL also provides specific functions that allow the developers the ability to access and create game pads and joysticks. The engine is normally used in both games made for hobbies and commercial ones. As long as someone understands the Java programming language, the LWJGL can be of some use.
Slick
The Slick Java game development tool is an easy to use tool that many different programmers can understand. The Slick gaming interface is built on top of the LWJGL interface. Since the open AL audio library and the open GL graphics library can get a little complicated, Slick replaces the open AL and open GL with simple method calls. In addition, the Slick Java based game development tool features built in game skeletons. The built in game skeletons are designed to be useful for game designers who need to handle the options screen and the main menu for a Java based video game. However, the negative aspect to the Slick Java game development tool is the fact that Slick only supports 2D graphics. This can get frustrating when a game designer wants to create one that features high quality 3D graphics.
JGame
Instead of using the LWJGL, the JGame uses the AWT, Swing, and Java Open GL libraries. In fact, the JGame application is built on top of these libraries. The JGame Java tool is used to make many different games. In fact, JGame can be used to create Web browser video, desktop video, and even cell phone games. However, the cell phone or computer needs to have Java installed. JGame also supports simple methods like DrawImage and PlayAudio.
